Surrender

October 6, 2017

If you feel mounting pressure around you and within you, the release valve you are looking for can be found in the act of surrender.

What is an act of surrender?

Surrender is letting go and rolling with punches.

Surrender is swaying and bending with the force and pressure but not breaking.

Surrender is witnessing, and holding space but not pushing or forcing.

Surrender is taking bold action and then going where the current of that action delivers you.

Surrender is allowing the birthing process (be it literal, a project or a life change) under go its natural unfolding.

Surrender is movement and passage through, not against or around.

Surrender is allowing what you need to show up when and how you need it to. (Not always the way we expect).

The truth is, external chaos abound, stability is within us. Even within our own instability there is solid ground. Surrender is an act of faith. Faith is trust. Find it. Breathe into it.

The complexity of being human is mountainous. But the way through, is truth and love and surrender.

Last night I dreamt of a solar eclipse and then full moon lunar eclipse. Then so much rose to the surface in my dream that required healing, across from what felt like lifetimes. A healing, that required an act of surrender and responsibility. And in my dream, I did so.

Onward. And upward. Together.
