Noemi’s first love has always been creative writing. Noemi began writing poetry at the age of 18, when writing was truly putting pen to paper. All of her poetry lived in paper bound notebooks, accompanied by drawings, pictures and taped mementos. By invitation, Noemi began reading and performing her poetry around Los Angeles from 2000 to 2004, while working in the local arts non-profit scene and studying theater.

From 2015 - 2021 Noemi spent most of her writing time in the digital sphere, blogging for Heart Centered Home, which she created in 2015. HCH explored the alignment of Heart, Home & Planet, merging design, sustainability and wellness. The wellness focus of Heart Centered Home encouraged Noemi to complete a certification in Professional Life Coaching from iPEC in 2021. During this time span, Noemi also enjoyed creative collaborations and contributing well crafted copy to various projects.

Returning to her creative writing roots, Noemi began writing a newsletter on Substack called The Garden Chronicles in March 2023.

The Garden Chronicles mingles her love of creative writing with her new found passion for gardening. More specifically, it lyrically chronicles her adventures (and misadventures) as a new home owner in a much loved fixer upper with lush, overgrown landscaping. Stories abound!

Noemi has a bachelor’s degree in Art Studio, and lives in Northern California with her fiancé and dog, Daisy.
